Stanley A. Voloskie
Stanley A. Voloskie, 89, of Sturgeon, passed Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
He was born December 3, 1933, in Sturgeon, a son of Stanley and Marie Reinstadtler Voloskie.
Mr. Voloskie was a graduate of West Allegheny High School. He then went on and served in the United States Army.
He was a truck driver, and last drove for Dravo Trucking in Pittsburgh, where he retired in 1980.
On April 6, 1956, he married the love of his life, Margie V. Ganoe, who traveled with him while serving in the Army and who passed July 28, 2015.
Stanley and his wife loved to travel. His most memorable trip with his wife was to Paris, France. They were always together and he missed her very much.
Surviving are two nephews, George (Jodi) Voloskie, and Todd Voloskie, both of Sturgeon; a niece, Tracey Fountain of Carnegie; two sisters-in-law, Betty Salmon of McDonald and JoAnn Voloskie of Sturgeon; six great-nieces and nephews, Ryan, Jenny, George Jr., Todd Sr., Scotty and Meadow Voloskie; and Stanley’s loving caregiver, Judith Darnley-Sperry of McDonald.
Deceased is a brother, George Voloskie Sr.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, in the Graff-Nation Funeral and Cremation Service LLC., 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057, where services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 5. He will then be laid to rest beside his wife in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
