Joseph W. Lewicki, Jr.
Joseph W. Lewicki, Jr., 77, of Canonsburg, died Monday, September 4, 2023.
He was born November 28, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph and Genevieve Slesinski Lewicki, Sr.
Joseph was a 1963 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
He proudly served our country in the United States Army in Vietnam.
On September 25, 1971 Joseph married the love of his life, Rose Marie. He was also an active member of the VFW 553 and American Legion 902.
Joseph is survived by four sons: Joseph Lewicki, III, Frank (Elizabeth) Lewicki, John (Judith) Lewicki and Jason (Michel) Lewicki, all of Canonsburg; one grandchild, Mason Lewicki; a niece, Whitney; and three nephews, Robert, Lucho and William.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lewicki.
A Celebration Of Life will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 14th, service will be held at 11:30 a.m. following the celebration of life at Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville .
