Keith McGill, 95, of Washington, died Friday, September 8, 2023, in his home.

He was born July 10, 1928, in Washington, a son of Clarence and Winnifred McGill.

He graduated from Trinity High School, where he played football, graduating in 1947.

He was employed with Columbia Gas as a cathodic protection specialist. He was awarded the Colonel George C. Cox Award for his outstanding contributions to underground corrosion engineering.

Keith was a member of the American Legion Post 175. He enjoyed farming and had an extensive collection of gasoline engines. He collected Duncan Miller glassware and loved old time country music. An avid Steelers fan, he was also a season ticket holder of the Wild Things Baseball.

Keith was strong in his Christian faith and a member of the North Buffalo Presbyterian Church.

He was very proud of his military service in the United States Army, with HQ Company 110th Infantry Regiment 28th Division.

Keith is survived by his wife, June Harris; niece, Jackie Garcia; nephew, Sean Levi (Marissa) Bristor; many great, and great-great nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend, Cathy Maxwell.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Cora McGill.

Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, the time of a service, Saturday, September 16, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, with the Rev. Sue Petritis officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 711 Rural Valley Road, Washington, PA 15301.

Interment will follow in Upper Ten Mile Cemetery, Prosperity.
