Mary Roney Ross
Mary “Jean” Roney Ross, 93, of Canonsburg, passed away with family by her side, on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
Born on November 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Paul and Linda Roney.
She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Ross; loving mother of Bonnie (the late Kenneth) Zupkow, John W. (Janet) Ross Jr., Gary (Debbie) Ross and Karen (Daniel) D’Alessandro; cherished grandmother of Shannon Jacobs, Sonya Kirk, Sherry Evans, Bryan Ross, Melissa Ross, Tami Hannon, Elizabeth Ross, Rachel Ross, and the late Shawn Huggins; great-grandmother of three and great-great-grandmother of five; she was also the dear sister of the late Glenn Roney.
Jean worked with Meals on Wheels and the Election Board for North Strabane Township for over 20 years. She was a dedicated member of Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church for over 70 years. She enjoyed crocheting. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Chartiers Hill Presbyterian Church.
