Robert “Bob” Wayne McCarty, 66, of Wheeling, W.Va., passed away Monday, September 25, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born February 14, 1957, in Washington, son of the late Paul McCarty and Laura Lynn McCarty Debsky.

He was a graduate of Beth-Center High School and retired from Ritchey Metals Company, in Hendersonville.

Bob loved working on cars and was a good man who loved his family, especially his granddaughters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachael Manning.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Darlene Ann Robb McCarty; sister, Laura Jean Hartman of Washington; stepson, Mark (Cassie) Stillwell of Fairmont, W.Va.; three wonderful granddaughters, Jacie Kay Manning, Brieanna “Brie” Stillwell and Aaleia “Alie” Stillwell; a niece, Pamela Stephens; a nephew, Nick Romanakis; aunt, Sharon Piper of N.C.; and an uncle, Kemp “Junior” Lynn of Washington.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 until 7 p.m., the time of service, Friday, Sept. 29, at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, W.Va., 304-242-2311, with Christopher Stillwell officiating.
