To allay the lamentations and wailing by your newspaper over the recent vacating of Pam Snyder’s seat on the Greene County Board of Commissioners, I offer this:

Perhaps the good judges of Greene County should strongly consider the appointment of attorney Louis Dayich.

He is certainly qualified, with his many years of private practice and his collegiate years teaching at Waynesburg University, not to mention his many years as a district magistrate.

We could do far worse to appoint someone else and certainly gain less in someone with the intellect and authority necessary to guide the county and lead the way to a prosperous future.

I am not detracting from the abilities of the current commissioners. Rather, I think Dayich could only complement the board.
