Catnip Acres has gone above and beyond the call of duty to try to relieve the hardships and suffering of the animals of Greene County. When no other organizations would answer the call for help, Catnip Acres was there. The residents of Greene County often have to make difficult choices at the end of each month – whether to put food on the table, keep the electricity on, or purchase life-saving medication. Providing care for their animals is usually not an option because there is just not enough money to go around. Catnip Acres has provided the residents of Greene County and Southwestern Pennsylvania with another option for their beloved pets. The low-cost program of spaying and neutering has saved thousands of lives and prevented horrible deaths from starvation, weather and automobiles.Show your support by signing a petition to save Catnip Acres and, if possible, attending the zoning board hearing at 5:30 p.m. today at the Franklin Township building outside Waynesburg.Carin CampCrucible
