After reading the Observer-Reporter’s summary of the boom in the area, from South Hills to Washington, I wonder why our presidential candidates cannot model our country after this area. The housing and business in our area is outstanding. Why not bring this idea to the country, instead of dwelling on who did what and when in Benghazi, Libya? And whether or not we push for contraception in our country, surely the minds that are supposed to be thinking of what our country needs can find more important things to discuss than the trivial stuff they seem to dwell on. The workers employed in our area must be in the range of hundreds of thousands to achieve the numerous goals that the Observer-Reporter listed. Why can’t someone get this idea to our overpaid and underworked politicians? Terry Griffith Houston
