Washington’s city building on Maiden Street now has a clean face to greet visitors and local taxpayers.

I drove past the building Tuesday and was excited to see that there was no longer peeling paint or trash in the shrubbery. There was a crew of people painting all the railings. When I stopped to thank them, I was told that the large doors would also be refinished.

Pride in our city is very important, so thanks to everyone involved in this project.
