I was always taught the Republicans left more money in our pockets and were against any tax increases. I knew better, but they seemed to hide it better until now.

Gov. Tom Corbett and lawmakers who supported the transportation bill have given us confusing messages, including the idea that it will shift the tax burden to big oil companies and the oil companies won’t pass it on. Natural gas drilling could have been taxed instead of the public, but they raised the tax on our gas and that will never go down.

Once I pay my monthly bills I’m left with $200. What’s worse is many are hurting more than me.
