White House shouldn’t flaunt extravagance

I happened to notice that “Christmas at the White House 2013” was on TV Dec. 15. How can President Obama flaunt such extravagance when there are so many homeless people and families who worry about their next meal, let alone presents and a Christmas tree?

How many families could have had a better Christmas with the money spent on the White House decorations and meals? And we all have to pay for it. In the spirit of giving, wouldn’t the White House have been better off giving to the money to the needy?

By the way, my family can’t even afford the “affordable care.”

Merry Christmas, Mr. President.
