This is in response to the Feb. 15 letter from Chris Koger, “Humans are bad for the environment.”

He claims that “99.9 percent of the human race is bad for the environment” and states that “those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.” Really? He says that everyday existence is bad for the environment because of the deforestation to build houses and print papers, the oil by-products used to pave roads as well as the greenhouse gases emitted by vehicles creating noise and polluting the air.

All of these are bad for the environment. So how is fracking good?

He says it’s good for the jobs, the income to municipalities and “an economic boost.” So, really, all Koger is for is the money.

I feel that Koger and anyone else looking to save the planet, save the animals or go green should stop believing lies spread by greed, and then maybe educate themselves and others on the cheap, clean biofuel that is hemp. It is green and can be made into foods, fuels, housing oils, plastics, medicines and so much more.
