My firm is working with numerous prominent individuals throughout the state who are supporters of the coal industry. We work with these individuals to draft letters and send them to their local newspapers. Washington County Chamber of Commerce President Jeff Kotula was identified as a supporter of the industry and I was in the process of working with him to draft a letter to the editor.

During that process, I goofed up. I inadvertently submitted a letter that appeared Thursday he did not write or authorize. I apologize to Kotula and your readers for this mix up.
