I find it interesting that in one of her/his online comments to an Observer-Reporter article, “Janice Gibson,” aka state Rep. Jesse White, praised Robinson Township Supervisor Brian Coppola for “doing his job by keeping these companies accountable.”

Ironically, social media and an official-looking, pseudo-township website launched Coppola’s political career. While social media and Internet sites like Facebook have their value, people should have the courage to publicly stand up for what they believe. Anonymity has no place in a political forum. The voters need to see a politician’s lips moving to determine if they are telling the truth.
