All of us who have lived long enough to follow and witness the activity and fruitless results of our Congress probably can agree on this idea: We have seen just what special interest groups and backroom deals have done to tarnish the American government. Now is time for every hard working taxpayer to stand up and demand term limits.

The mess created by these people will not be remedied by allowing the good ol’ boys to continue to have their way. A law should also be passed to stop any retired congressman or senator from becoming a lobbyist or representative for a special interest.
