I have just returned from picking up trash along my street. It is appalling that litterbugs have no respect or consideration for anyone or anything but themselves.

There is a sign posted on our road stating there is a $300 fine for littering. What a joke. Also, on Pennsylvania car registrations, there is yet another reminder that littering is not tolerated in our state. Has anyone noticed?

I challenge all of you to do your part. First of all, teach a kid to not throw anything out the window of a car. Be an example for a change. Next, get out there and burn some calories and pick it up. It’s not hard to find because it is absolutely everywhere.
