I’m sure everyone is looking forward to warmer weather and going for a drive. But as I look around the highways, side roads and even in my own neighborhood, all I see is trash. Everything, everywhere is covered with it. Those who litter and continue to litter should be so ashamed of what our land has become.

We are having friends visiting from Connecticut in a few weeks and I am embarrassed about what they will see on the drive here from the airport and wherever we might drive while they are here.

If you travel south or west of here you don’t see any trash. Who picks it up there? If it’s prisoners, why can’t they do that here? We would all profit. The prisoners get out and exercise and our highways become once again presentable. With all the money we pay in fuel tax, I feel something should be done and done soon. It’s only getting worse.
