Let’s stand behind Social Security

Social Security. “Is it broke?”
“Are my benefits going to be cut?”
“I’m sick of entitlement programs!”
No, no and no. Social Security is not broke. As of this date, no one’s benefits are being cut. Social Security is an entitlement program, but wage earners and employers have funded this program.
You want to fix Social Security? Get more jobs in the United States. Each one of us can make 5 percent of our purchases “made in America,” and some of this problem would just disappear. Lift the cap on earnings and Social Security will fund benefits for our grandchildren.
We all worked hard to earn this benefit. Let’s not waste this opportunity to let our legislators know where we stand – behind Social Security.
