Questions about Wash High incident

The latest incident at Washington High School, which led to a lockdown Tuesday after a student was found to have a gun in possession, could have been much worse. Thank God nothing happened.
But we have to wonder: Can such a serious matter as this be prevented? A few questions need to be answered: How did the student get the gun in the school? Whose gun is it? How did he get this gun? Is it a stolen gun? Did he have a permit to carry the gun?
Let us not forget what has happened in our schools in the past. Let’s keep that in the past.
