I would like to speak to the shoppers who think it is appropriate to take their frustrations out on sales associates at retail stores, or any establishment, for that matter.

It is management, probably at the main headquarters far away, who decide how much of an item each store will stock, particularly this year’s ?must-have? items. The sales associates can neither control nor predict the quantity allotted to each store. The sales associates are just working people, probably making minimum wage, perhaps a little more, who should not be subjected to this incredibly rude behavior. I am quite sure you would not appreciate being treated in this demeaning manner. Be a bit more understanding and treat others as you wish to be treated.
