Seniors not looking for handouts

In reference to Philip Camden’s Tuesday letter about seniors not being well prepared for their retirement and looking for handouts, he must have been wearing blinders when he took his snapshot.
Seniors are not looking for handouts. We would only like to hold on to what we have. If we did overspend, it probably was to give today’s workers a better shot.
