It was rewarding to read the front page story Wednesday that North Strabane Township had finally approved a well pad. They are in the dark ages.
In July and August of 2011, the farm on which I reside had a well set up on the hill, probably 300 yards at the max, from my bedroom window. There was never a single problem.
Chesapeake Energy, to name the driller in question, did the operation with zero or no accidents or, to my knowledge, complaints.
