I feel very sorry for Rocco, the Pittsburgh police dog that died protecting an officer. I will bet the officers there were wearing, or at least were provided, vests for protection. Why did no one care about the vests that are available for police dogs? You only have to give a damn and spent a little money.

My guess is that all the money spent on the veterinarian bills for this dog could have gone toward vests for all the dogs.
