If you haven’t already donated to the 2000 Turkeys campaign, you have eight more days to do so.

The effort to put a Thanksgiving meal on the tables of 5,400 families in Washington County that cannot afford one is about $28,000 short of its goal of $100,000 this year.

Every $15 donation provides a Thanksgiving meal for a family of four. For the next few days, however, that $15 will feed two families, thanks to a pledge by Range Resources to match those donations, up to $20,000.
