What is going on with Washington County District Attorney Eugene Vittone?

In recent months, we have had two Pennsylvania Rule 600 case dismissals, where people were not brought to trial on time. More recently, we have an employee of the district attorney’s office on paid administrative leave. How long are we going to keep paying this employee for doing nothing?

Seems the only thing Vittone is concerned with is claiming credit for drug busts for which he has no involvement other than prosecuting – hopefully within 365 days – and busting clubs for operating video gambling machines when, in fact, these very clubs are nonprofit and benevolent organizations that contribute a great deal of money to charity.
