Columnist Kathleen Parker is a very smart woman who has a very honest grasp on American trends. Also, she has a sense of humor to go along with it.

She recently pointed out the trend toward political correctness on some college campuses. Thin-skinned people and students who want to start a war over the slightest of slights, or perceived slights, aren’t focused very maturely or professionally. Also, digging up the perceived faults of bygone great leaders to remove monuments and change the names of buildings is absolutely crazy – and anybody who sits by saying nothing about crazy behavior isn’t any better. As Abraham Lincoln once said, “No man is all good and no man is all bad.”

Parker has also written by ISIS, and she puts it right: How do you deal with crazies? We say we’ll bomb them into oblivion, and they reply, “Bring it on.”

No, wait. We’ll do it to ourselves.
