I am very disappointed that the Observer-Reporter continues to publish columns by Kathleen Parker that are written purely to bash Donald Trump. What Parker fails to report are the reasons why so many citizens plan to support Trump all the way to the White House. He is the only candidate who understands economics and is able to identify why our country’s economy is failing.

The Democratic candidates are idealistic in thinking you can use a Robin Hood-type approach to taxing to make everything better for everyone. The truth is socialism doesn’t work. You just can’t reduce taxes on the citizens a dime and pass it on to businesses. It just doesn’t work that way. Businesses will merely pass the tax on to the consumers by raising their prices.

Then, you are the loser! In the end, it’s citizens who really get the the tax increase. Your dollar buys less. This is how inflation happens. This is why socialism has always failed everywhere it’s been tried.

Donald Trump gets this and so do his supporters. He is not afraid to expose all this and he is not taking big donations from businesses. He is a real American and, for the most part, self-funding his campaign. He is running to make America great again, and we should all be thankful he is.

So despite any bad things Parker says about him, Trump is the candidate of the people, and will protect us from the con-artist politicians who try to fool us with great promises, but, in the end, will make life harder for all of us.
