A great accomplishment at cemetery

The mission of Wreaths Across America is to remember the fallen, honor those who serve in the U.S. military, along with their families, and teach our children the value of freedom.

Wreaths have been placed at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Cecil Township since it opened in 2005. This year, there were enough wreaths that every grave received one. Everyone who took part in the Dec. 12 Wreaths Across America ceremony at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies should be proud of this great accomplishment.

If someone missed the Dec. 12 ceremony, they should take a ride out to the cemetery and see how beautiful it looks. The next Wreaths Across America ceremony will be at the cemetery Dec. 17, 2016.
