I enjoy the Sunday column that George Block writes. I have made so many copies of them to send to my family and friends. The George family of Eighty Four consisted of 13 brothers and two sisters.

According to Pete George, in Oklahoma, Dave George, who died in 2003, was the best fisherman in the area, who taught George Block a lot about fishing. George Block was like another brother.

So why am I writing this letter? I think it’s time to update the photo of George Block. As he has aged, he’s gotten the distinguished look of a college professor.
