Bring back old-fashioned things
The new restaurant I was in also had iPads on their tables. My family and I were seated. After about five minutes, someone came and asked if we had punched our order in. We didn’t. So she took our order on her pad and the order was delivered.
After we were finished, she said if we wanted dessert it should be ordered on the iPad. My sister pushed a button and ordered dessert. Ten minutes later, it arrived. When we were finished, we paid by gift card and the waitress received a tip through the iPad.
What can older people do who do not understand this? Bring back the old-fashioned things, or leave a few.
