On Saturday, the Marianna Outdoorsmen Association could not have asked for a worse day to stock the north branch of the Ten Mile Watershed in Marianna with trout.

However, at 9 a.m., approximately 100 people showed up to participate in our trout-stocking program. There were men, women and children there to bear the brunt of Mother Nature that morning, with snow, sleet and rain coming down. It was an amazing sight. It demonstrates the willingness of sportsmen and sportswomen to help the Marianna Outdoorsmen Association.

The quality and quantity of the trout we put in the watershed Saturday is exceptional. We have worked tirelessly to promote the Ten Mile Watershed without getting our fair amount of help from any state or federal agencies.
