In response to Scott Hemphill’s Aug. 7 letter about the Democratic Party, “let’s pretend” whatever right-wing websites Hemphill visits provide him with an accurate picture of what’s going on in the United States.

I am a little surprised that his letter neglected to mention the Kenyan Muslim in the White House, Benghazi and lying climate scientists.
