No left turn
A recent letter concerning stop signs in Canonsburg has prompted me to write about another traffic dilemma in Washington – the ill-conceived use of “no left turn” signs at the post office at Chestnut Street and Jefferson Avenue.
There is no left turn into the post office on Chestnut Street. There is no left turn from the post office parking lot into Chestnut Street traffic. It is apparent that individuals using the post office don’t have the capacity to read signs and understand them or they are just too pigheaded to care.
Apparently it will take a major collision to bring about changes.
