Offer information for older drivers
This letter is in response to the Jan. 28 editorial on testing older drivers and the reader response to it.
Perhaps your editorial would have been better suited to the welfare of the public had it included references to ways people of any age can improve their driving skills. AARP has a Smart Driver program, as do other organizations. The editorial could have also mentioned services available to those who can’t drive, want to limit their driving and other information.
Your editorial may have garnered some attention, but it would have better served as a way to offer information for improving knowledge and offering alternatives.
