Why is Kane still in office?

How nice of former Gov. Ed Rendell to say that it is not necessary for Kathleen Kane to have an active law license to meet the requirements of being Pennsylvania’s attorney general.

When I worked as an assistant nursing director, it was not necessary for me to ever come in direct contact with a patient. Most of my duties involved jobs that are performed in other businesses by someone without a state license. But I am sure that if I didn’t have my active nursing license, my boss would not have said, “That’s OK, just don’t do any of the jobs you would need a license for.” I also would have been fired immediately.

The question is why has Kathleen Kane remained in office this long without an active law license?
