Something strange has happened in American politics.

Right-leaning Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson has stated that he agrees with 73 percent of proposals from Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who is on the left.

I wonder if these two could reach a compromise that would forge a viable third party? Johnson for president with Sanders as his running mate?
