Media won’t derail Trump
I couldn’t help chuckling while reading the article on problems in Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in the June 19 edition of the Observer-Reporter. The way I see it, Hillary Clinton and the Democrats will be having a rude awakening, regardless of the $41 million they are investing in advertising and the presumed hundreds of “political workers” who will be stumping for her.
Even the push by the left-wing media to derail Trump won’t fool the majority of Americans this time. President Obama gave us a deficit of just over $19 trillion, an annual economic growth rate of below 2 percent, and companies around the country experiencing a 20 percent to 40 percent rate increase in health care costs because of Obamacare. Some increases are as high as 54 percent in Minnesota.
No, I think people of the United States want jobs, deficit reduction and safety. Donald Trump is exactly the type of person to do that.
He has no one in his pockets, something the Clintons can’t say. Trump has spent over $40 million of his own money on his campaign. When push comes to shove, he’s not afraid to call a spade a spade. That’s what’s going to enlighten the voters this fall. It may get dirty, but it’s been that way for quite some time.
If you want a continuation of what you have now, then Hillary Clinton is your candidate. But if change from the current slop we are being fed by the media is what you want, Trump is the guy. Jobs, fiscal responsibility and safety is what he will provide. He’s done it for years in New York, and he’ll get the best people working in his corner, not some sneaky politicians like the Clinton bunch.
