The Party of No

Pennsylvania Sen. Pat Toomey has stated on his website that “Should (Supreme Court nominee) Merrick Garland be nominated again by the next president, I would be happy to carefully consider his nomination …”

In other words, the only reason Toomey and his like are refusing to even meet with Garland now is that it was President Obama who nominated him. It has nothing to do with the man nominated or the needs of the court or the country.

Toomey’s breathtaking honesty continues, and he explains the seven years of obstruction by his party toward our first black president. The “Grand Old Party” has been replaced by the “Party of No,” perfectly represented by the open racism and foul-mouthed bullying of Donald Trump.
