An inconvenient truth for Trump

With an epic mic drop and a two-word farewell, President Obama signed off at the recent annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner for the last time. However, “Obama out” doesn’t mean we won’t hear his name again.

You can bet a face full of his orange rouge that Donald Trump will invoke Obama’s name as he tries to link Hillary Clinton to what he deems a failed eight-year reign.

I hope he hits her on ISIS with the allegation that the terror group has flourished while Obama and Clinton played patty cake with their pacifying politics.

The inconvenient truth for Trump is that ISIS is struggling to pay, recruit and retain its fighters. They are suffering from low morale, and well should be, considering that $800 million in ISIS funds have been destroyed in up to 20 airstrikes, including $150 million in one strike alone.

In all, over 20,000 ISIS fighters have been killed by the U.S.-led coalition.

While the Pentagon reports these facts, Trump will regurgitate his own version of the truth to his awestruck acolytes. He will say that ISIS continued to behead as Obama and Clinton did nothing.

And in exchange for “Obama out”, we will have “Trump’s B.S. in”.
