We should work together
So as the reality show called the presidential primary rolls on, I’m perplexed as to a certain movement called anger – anger at the dysfunction of our government.
While I certainly agree that there is just cause for this anger, I find it hard to come to terms with the way people are handling it. Every statement in support of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is followed with the reasoning like, “He’s going to make a change,” or “He’s not a politician.” Problem is, you can’t nail Trump down on any policy ideas or plans.
Trump recently stated that he would speak directly with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. This comment terrifies me – Kim Jong-un is suspected of killing his own family members, and Trump is going to speak to him? Seriously?
It’s time for everyone to work together for solutions. We owe it to this country to preserve our freedom and security.
