An explanation needed

If you belong to a class of people posing a significant problem to this country but do nothing to help, you share in the problem.

Meanwhile, since there is no way to tell whether you are part of the problem, too, since you look no different than the bad people within your class, how are people to know what is in your mind and what you might do?

And so, as a white male who was raised a Christian, I have to do something about the millions of people in my class who are following a white nationalist who is sexist and bigoted, and with no redeeming qualities. Can anyone explain to me how to do that?
