Still voting for Trump
Even with all the accusations of tax evasion, sex scandals (real or fabricated), impulsive remarks and charges of unfitness for the office of president, I am still voting for Donald Trump.
I am voting for him because of all those things. Because of all of his faults, he has managed to reveal more of the scandalous inner workings of the American presidential election process than any politician has ever been able to, and it is just this that I want him to do as our president.
Will his presidency be chaotic? Combative? Painful to watch? Perhaps. But there needs to be a revolution in this country, a shake-up that replaces the polished, connected, power-hungry insiders with outsiders who just want to make our country better and stop all the political games these rich, pampered, “public servants” play every day with our money.
I want a president of the United States, not a president of the world. We have to fix our own country first before we can help fix anyone else’s. Yes, it will take a while to fix, but we have to start now.
