Offended by John Kasich editorial
I took offense at your Tuesday editorial supporting Ohio Gov. John Kasich and bashing Donald Trump. In fact, the mainstream media, including the Observer-Reporter, is making a fool of itself with its one-sided bias in favor of Hillary Clinton.
The 17 presidential candidates the GOP fielded in this cycle were mostly establishment figures, and they all signed a pledge to support the nominee. They assumed that Trump would not be the nominee and would run as a third-party candidate and this pledge would prevent that. The GOP base had other ideas. They are sick and tired of the establishments of both parties in Washington, D.C.
For almost eight years, Republicans In Name Only have done nothing to stop President Obama and his socialist and communist allies from tearing our country down, accumulating massive debt for our grandchildren to bear, and allowing our lives to be endangered by undocumented immigrants.
Trump is not just a blustering, know-nothing reality television star as you say, any more than Ronald Reagan was merely an actor in B-movies, as the mainstream media said. Trump is a successful businessman. He loves America and the Constitution and wants to preserve them both. He is not running for power and accumulating personal wealth. He is the only hope our country has, and despite the efforts of the mainstream media and Republicans In Name Only, he will likely be elected.
The Republican National Committee has said the GOP traitors like Kasich, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz and John McCain will not be supported if they run in future elections. All of them need to endorse Trump.
