What a great ending to a story that started in a sad way.

I’m glad the Observer-Reporter followed the story of the dog that had been named Puppy. In such a short period, he went through what no puppy should, at the hands of a mean, hateful and hurtful person.

Next came the helpful and caring hands of the first responders, veterinarians, veterinarian technicians and donors. They delivered him to the best hands, the people who will love and spoil him for the next 15 years or so. Only better times will come now, from a cruel and inhumane beginning.

Best wishes and lots of fun to the LaSalvias and the puppy now named Kai.
