No relief in tax bills
My new Peters Township school-tax bill shows an increase of $801.87.
The person in charge of the district should be a business-type person who has been educated on how to control expenses and where to spend money within a fixed budget, and not have taxpayers pay for mistakes.
When you listen to the Pennsylvania Lottery numbers each evening, they say it benefits senior citizens. I have not seen one penny of benefits. Also, when the casino came to North Strabane Township, it was said there would be some property-tax relief.
Check your school-tax bills.
