It’s often difficult to keep a New Year’s resolution. I endured a year of being frustrated to accomplish that feat. I abstained from complaining to local authorities and writing letters concerning drivers violating stop signs in my neighborhood.

My yearlong silence led to an increase in violators. Obviously some motorists believe the red-and-white octagon signs are a hindrance.

Motorists should make a resolution to obey all stop signs in 2018.
