Let the president do his job
I have always tried to be proud of our country and consider myself a patriotic American. We had our election in November and, like it or not, there are many people still trying to dispute it.
At this point, I feel a sense of shame and embarrassment about what the rest of the world sees. In any situation, be it government, family life or business, nothing can be accomplished without working together. The people who are against President Trump are not helping but hindering.
In life, we are never going to agree with everyone every time. That is a given. However, why is it so hard for these people. They are putting themselves and their party ahead of the people of this country and that is just wrong.
As parents, if there is a problem with one of the children, both mother and father work together to resolve the situation. I ask these people, please put the good of the people and our country ahead of your personal feelings. American needs things to change and the longer it takes to get things back on track, the easier it will be for our enemies to take advantage of some of situations that can be resolved by working together.
We are the United States of America, so let’s be united.
