Organization doesn’t care about us

GMS Mine Repair & Maintenance was forced to lay off 203 hardworking employees in Greene County due to a recent lawsuit that was filed by the Center for Coalfield Justice (CCJ) and granted by the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board.

CCJ is an organization that is based in Washington, but don’t let the name fool you; the Center for Coalfield Justice is a radical group with ties to and support from the California-based Sierra Club. They don’t care about us or our families. Just follow the Sierra Club money and you’ll see what truly motivates them.

CONSOL Energy has a stellar, documented track record when it comes to meeting and exceeding environmental requirements. They are one of the most environmentally-conscious energy companies in the country and they provide jobs, taxes and economic impact right here in our local communities.
