Blame negligent pet owners
I am writing in response to Page Williams’ Sunday letter about the feral cat situation at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
The cats ended up there through no fault of their own. People neglect to have pets spayed or neutered, and you end up with them being discarded. The blame should fall on negligent pet owners.
With all the horrific events happening in the world, such as terrorism, school shootings, heroin overdoses and domestic violence, Williams should focus on more devasting things than feral cats.
