Antiquated election system needs to be addressed

Thank you for your editoial on “A victory for common sense” in the June 20 newspaper.

I agree with you. Awarding more Republican write-in votes to Martha Ward rather than Bob Sabot was a clerical error. The antiquated, haphazard election system in Pennsylvania needs to be addressed.

Then, perhaps no one will be accused of “stealing the election.”
